Daniel Dziouba is a Partner at Pérez Bustamante & Ponce, based in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where he focuses his practice on corporate law and dispute resolution. He advises domestic and international clients on complex commercial transactions, the structuring of new business ventures, and strategic legal matters involving cross-border operations.
Daniel has significant experience representing clients in both local and international arbitration proceedings and managing contracts governed by international legal frameworks. His work frequently involves advising importers and exporters on matters related to international trade, including contracts governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Before joining Pérez Bustamante & Ponce as a partner in 2023, Daniel spent more than a decade at Carmigniani Pérez, where he developed a strong practice in corporate transactions and commercial disputes. Earlier in his career, he worked at Moeller, Gómez-Lince & CÃa.
In addition to his legal practice, Daniel has contributed to academia as a professor of Commercial Law and Private International Law at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil.
He holds an LL.M. from the University of Virginia with a focus on international business law and arbitration, and earned his law degree from the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil. Daniel is admitted to practice in Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish, English, and Russian.
