Kaylee Funes is an Associate Attorney with Hassan International Law PLLC, in Miami, Florida. She advises and represents private clients, individuals, families, family offices, trusts companies and businesses operating internationally and within the United States on their global structuring, tax and reporting,
with a particular focus on clients in Latin America and Europe.
Her practice focuses on advising on the structuring of investments inside and outside of the United States, such as international trust planning, global exchange of information and reporting (e.g. FATCA and CRS), US real estate tax planning (FIRPTA), company planning, including passive foreign investment companies (PFICs), controlled foreign corporations (CFCs) and the new tax rules relating to GILTI.
She earned her law degree from Saint Thomas University School of Law, and her LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida
